“Behold the Purple and Gold!” The Brothers of Delta Omega Chapter extend greetings to you as your gracious host of the 80^th Anniversary of The Third District Conference.  We cordially invite you and your family to attend this historic celebration.  The Brothers of Delta Omega have been working hard to ensure that the 2013 District Meeting is the best ever, with various presentations, tutorials, networking events and activities for your family.

The 80^th Anniversary celebration of the Third District will be highlighted with events for the brotherhood to fraternize, unite and reflect on our accomplishments as a District.  We have several activities starting on Thursday so don’t delay and make plans to attend the conference on Thursday starting with an exciting Third District Golf Scramble.  This year we will be entertained by the Jazz Band Essential Element and we hope to sponsor the largest dance central Virginia has seen in some time. 

Delta Omega Chapter is looking forward to taking care of your needs during your time here in Richmond, Virginia.  You can feel at ease as we get into the business of Omega, exchange ideas with brothers across the district, and learn about innovative solutions covering multiple aspects of fraternity operations.

Brothers while you are in Richmond, Virginia take a tour of our American history and experience the finest adventure’s the city has to offer.  Historic sites are easily accessible in the Historic Richmond Region. Here, more than 400 years of American history live on through magnificent architecture, monument-lined cobblestone streets, and world-class museums  for an experience that’s anything but text book.

See how the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is expanding its world-class offerings. And with more than 900 restaurants,diverse shopping and enticing events, the Region is an ideal site for the 2013 District Meeting.

As part of our Social Action program we will be making a cash donation on behalf of the Third District to the Richmond,Virginia Food Bank.  We are asking each graduate chapter to donate $100 and undergraduate chapters to donate $50.

We are also encouraging all chapters and Brothers to participate in our Third District fundraiser project to commemorate our 80years of existence by taking out a personal ad in the “80^thAnniversary Commemorative Journal”.
